Privacy Policy
RTBEngine is a personal portfolio game engine and prototype project operated by Pablo Gonzalva. This policy explains what information may be processed when RTBEngine is used for development, testing, or multiplayer experiments.
Information We May Process
RTBEngine does not run its own public account database. When Epic account login or Epic Online Services features are used, Epic may provide limited account information needed for authentication and multiplayer testing.
- Epic account identifiers, product user identifiers, and display names.
- Authentication state needed to sign in and connect to Epic Online Services.
- Lobby, session, peer-to-peer, and presence data needed for multiplayer tests.
- Diagnostic logs, error messages, and local configuration data generated by the application.
How Information Is Used
- To authenticate users during development and testing.
- To test online features such as lobbies, peer-to-peer networking, and account-based login.
- To debug crashes, login failures, networking issues, and engine behavior.
- To improve the project as part of a personal portfolio.
Epic Online Services
RTBEngine may use Epic Online Services for authentication and online multiplayer features. Epic Games processes Epic account data according to its own privacy policy and account settings. You can review Epic's privacy information at epicgames.com/site/privacypolicy.
Data Sharing
RTBEngine does not sell personal data. Information may be processed by Epic Online Services when Epic account login or multiplayer services are used. Diagnostic information may be reviewed by the project developer to fix bugs and validate online features.
Data Storage And Retention
RTBEngine may store local configuration files and logs on the user's device. The project does not currently maintain a separate hosted backend database for player accounts. Local files can be removed by uninstalling the project build or deleting its local data folder.
Children
RTBEngine is a development and portfolio project. It is not directed to children under 13, and it is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.
